- Important note for Hobbybrew users: potential SG (gravity) values of malts are set per grams/Liter, whereas Hobbybrew uses lbs/Gallon values. You can change this behavior setting the option in Settings panel. So, if you load a recipe made by HB and you find a different value for OG, that's the reason. If you need to convert the potential gravity from lbs/Gallon to grams/Liter you need to multiply the value by 0.835. For example: I have a 1,037 expressed in lbs/Gallon and I need the value in grams/Liter--> 37*0.835=30.895=1,031. The list of ingredients in BrewPlus has values set per grams/Liter.
